In "We Girls - EP", PIMO are pretending to be like a high school girl's rock band.
Here is Moro’s explanation for each song:
#1 Middle-aged Man:
“This song is about two schoolgirls flirting with a middle-aged man. Introduction guitar makes me imagine a middle-aged man falling sleep on the train & suddenly waking up & 2 schoolgirls start flirting him. (We might make a music video like this...). The song is inspired by George Gershwin’s “Rhapsody in Blue” & my favorite radio show "Music To Spazz" on WFMU.
#2 Boobs Heaven:
“This song sounds like an erotic fantasy of a man in the beginning, but actually is a transgender song (ex. “on your hairy chest”). The intro was inspired by Sonic Youth's "Dirty" album.
#3 My Girlfriend Got Ass and Boobs (re-mixed & updated on 11/13/2014)
“My hobby is to look for African music on Youtube, but I totally cannot understand what they are talking about.
One day, I saw a Japanese TV show introducing the music of one of the African tribes & they were basically singing something like, “I got a lot of cigarettes from Japanese TV crews today. I’m so lucky, yeah!” & Japanese people got disappointed because they thought they were singing about something spiritual & holy.
So I made some simple lyrics just to praise how happy it is to have... ass & boobs! Chords in chorus are a bit similar to ‘Brazil’.”
#4 Flexible Woman (fucked-up version)
“This is from my real experience about how I encountered a flexible woman in a gallery.
On this version, my voice was fucked up, but Pixy liked how fucked up I was & decided to put this particular version for EP.”
#5 Is It?
“After seeing 2-piece-girls-rock-band in my dream & I started having the idea of this EP which we pretend like we are the school girls' band.
I thought putting this track at the end would be the best since the lyrics makes me feel like, is it really the end of the EP? ”
