Pimopera (Pimo + Opera) is their debut album which was recorded in their bedroom, kitchen, closet in their apartment in Brooklyn, New York.
The music has some intimate feeling as if the listeners are in PIMO’s bedroom.

Here is Moro's explanation on each song:

#1 We Are from the Ghetto:
"I've always wanted to connect songs in album when I heard Radiohead's "ok computer" since I was junior high, so I did. This track is kind of we are making fun of each other (I'm from Japan & Pixy is from Shanghai) which we do in everyday's life. It's I thought a good introduction to introduce ourselves, like many rappers do. The last part "Pipi-chan, I'm coming to you" was a different song, but I put it at the end to connect to track #2."

#2 Oh My
"The riff has 4/4 and 3/4 pattern makes this song interesting... I guess? The lyrics has mixture of English and Japanese, which you can find explanation on PIMO dictionary. "Nandemo naiyo" means "Nothing", like we are so shy to talk about "what is this thing called love".

#3 Beef Taco French Girl
"The melody came from my old memory of my grandma singing karaoke on TV at home.
The lyrics is about I go to Bedford Avenue in Williamsburg & checking hipster girls out while eating at beef taco vendor. Lyrics was made by Pixy in English & I translated to Japanese. "

#4 House Husband
"Since we both went to school in Memphis where many black music was/ still is happening & I wanted to put gospel song to praise House Husband. Pixy likes to feel luxury to keep a house husband at home."

#5 Kitchen Drums Interlude
"Since this album is about PIMO's opera, I wanted to put few interludes. On this track, I'm playing many kitchen instruments, like tuned-glass cups, dishes, kettle with chopsticks as drums. The pitches of glasses of water are tuned-in to Japanese minor scale."

#6 Little Curry Man
"This song is made by Pixy. The percussion is a book that I'm slapping with my hand. Pixy calls me "Curry Man" because I cook curry while wearing yellow t-shirts."

#7 Mushroom Girl
"The 1st song I recorded for this album, on the couch with my beat boxing. It was too lo-fi & had too much noise & I took so much time to just remove the noise during mixing; but after recording this song, I notice technically we can record & decided to make this whole album. Pixy always has bob haircut & it makes me think she is a mushroom girl".

#8 Chintao Beer
"Since Pixy is from China, I thought it's nice to have Chinese song in album. I made the melody on train & I don't know any Chinese except for the famous Chinese beer brand, Tsingtao Beer, so I start using them as lyrics as if I'm singing Chinese. The intro is from the sample from toy casio keyboard which Pixy really likes".

#9 Nanchattene
""Nanchattene" means "Just Kidding" in Japanese. It sounds like a girl playing on sidewalk by herself singing this scary song during world war time in Japan. I put this after Chintao Beer to cure the stupidity of the last track. This is also tuned-in to Japanese minor scale."

#10 All My Baby Toes
"This is the 2nd song made by Pixy. She likes to call my toes baby toes & it's all about it. "

#11 Stinky Hole
"We'll only let you imagine what the stinky hole is. BTW, the answer is in PIMO dictionary. Arrangement is something like we are singing in church about stinky hole."

#12 Toy Piano Interlude
"We found many things on street & found this toy piano on the sidewalk in Bushwick. Anyways, this is another interlude in this album as opera."

#13 Wanna Be a Tuna
"Tuna means a person who does not move on bed during sex, in Japanese slang. I guess I wanna be tuna in reality, so I don't need to do anything for many things. One of my favorite track in this album."

#14 Two Small Animals
"It's about us, two small animals. I made this song when Pixy was lying her head on my shoulder in cold NYC subway train. The original lyrics was "Two Poor Immigrants", but it was not good, so I changed to small animals. Who knows the warm spring had ever really came."

#15 Small Animals Are Crying for You
This is the last track of the album.
"Nyan" is the sound of cat "Meow" in Japan, which became famous by Nyan Cat. I made another version with percussion, but Pixy want to go with Acapella & I think it's good opera way to end this album.
